L'Oréal claims it "no longer tests its ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule."
...Then why does L'Oréal sell its products in China, where animal testing is still a common requirement for most types of cosmetics?
...And why isn't L'Oréal supporting efforts to secure laws to ban cosmetic animal testing completely?
While L'Oréal sits on the fence, hundreds of thousands of animals each year continue to suffer horrible pain and death in China and elsewhere, all for the sake of human vanity..
Sadly, animals used for cosmetics testing have chemicals dripped into their eyes or skin and poured down their throats, leaving them blinded, poisoned and killed. It's time for L'Oréal to get on the right side of history and join Humane Society International in its global campaign to end cosmetics cruelty.
